This is not a blog.
Let’s get this straight up front: I am not writing a blog post, not blogging a blog ,
this is not a catalog, a "blogalog" This is a Porfolio ...
It's adding continuous content to my site , making it ever expanding and hitting multiple areas of photography.
The beguiling beauty of a medieval time is painted and put forth through a combination of talents and accessories in this impactful and unorthodox jewellery campaign.
Remi Rebillard, the photographer on the shoot, creates his own spin on a uncertain time and works each element of this shoot into that bewitching mix of fierce, regal and medieval. Fashion that is indicative of the period is paired with beautiful, ornate and arresting jewellery from designer Dionea Orcini. Stylist, David Fittin, keeps within theme throughout – turning each image into a different story with its own history and mystery behind it. The impact of each portrait is wrapped up by the incredible skill of Rebillard in conjunction with digital retoucher Jan Gronvold, to turn these imagined worlds into something seen.

Of rare beauty, both touching and inviting, Remi Rebillard‘s exceptional location editorial draws you in a marvelous reality, arising just where the world of fashion meets bits and pieces of unfamiliar places left behind. Breathtaking in all of their isolation, the fields appear to be echoing the voice of the past, again and again. Undisturbed, caught in a still response, but bearing all signs of time passing by, the road to nowhere seems to span across miles and miles of endless abandoned courses.

A single soul, caught disquieting the peaceful corner of world, striving to find its own path, is what brings together fragments of past and present, of disintegration and growth, of hopelessness and promise. And you can almost sense the shattering calm guiding your steps, leading you on.
Continuing to capture the souls of distant places in such a beautiful manner, Remi Rebillard (remirebillard.com) carries on in feeding not just our imagination, but also our spirits, our hearts.
